Sean Hernandez, aka Chicago Skyway, is a DJ and producer rooted in Chicago and built by the club. His sound pulls from the city’s deep house history and the harder edges of techno, shaped by long nights, heavy systems, and rooms that don’t stop moving. This isn’t nostalgia—this is pressure, momentum, and release.

 

As Chicago Skyway, Hernandez works in rhythm first. Driving drums, restless basslines, and stripped-down melodies designed to lock dancers in and keep them there. His productions carry a raw, hands-on feel, informed by hardware, instinct, and years spent paying attention to what actually works in the room. Every track is functional, emotional, and unapologetically physical.

 

Behind the decks, Chicago Skyway delivers focused, no-wasted-motion sets that build slowly, hit hard, and stay honest. House, techno, Disco and the space in between—played with intention and respect for the floor. Whether it’s a dark basement, warehouse, or packed nightclub, his goal is simple: connect the room and let the music do the talking.
